| i've felt a strong affinity to the word "cookie" lately. i'm not sure why. i like cookies and all, but i seem to have a subconscious urge to use it in conversation as often as possible. it may be a subconscious response to the fact that there are zero cookies in my house, but that's nothing new. or perhaps it's a subconscious response to the fact that the cafeteria cookies have been getting smaller and smaller in diameter. but that started a while ago. or perhaps it's just due to the plain and simple fact that the word cookie flows well and is easy to say. who knows?
for now, cookie is the word of the month. oh boy.

| things change so quickly. just last week, it was one thing, and all of a sudden, it's all different. life has it's way of throwing curveballs at us, i guess. i wonder where this new development will lead...
